The NoMa BID's annual family friendly PumpkinPalooza is back!

Join us on Wednesday, October 28th starting at 4 p.m. at Alethia Tanner Park for delicious food, FREE PUMPKINS from our โ€œpick-your-ownโ€ pumpkin patch, live Minion & Gru costumed characters, and selfies with alpacas!

Costumes encouraged for people and pets, as weโ€™re hosting the ever-popular costume parade with amazing prizes.

PumpkinPalooza will also feature the return of pop-up beer garden hosted by Red Bear Brewing Co. who will be serving specialty fall brews (21+ only; no cash accepted, credit/debit only).

Finish off the evening watching Minions & Monsters on the big screen at DCโ€™s best outdoor movie venue! ๐ŸŽฌ

Important things to know before you attend:

Pick-your-own pumpkin patch opens at 4:15 p.m. and free pumpkins are available on a first come, first served basis. Limit: one free pumpkin per person, while supplies last.

Parents, please ensure your children are supervised at all times. The Metropolitan Branch Trail runs alongside the park and is frequented by bicycles and scooters.

Dogs are welcome, and encouraged to participate in pet costume contest, but they must be on a leash. There is also a separate dog park at Alethia Tanner Park where your dog can play off leash!

In case of inclement weather, the event will take place on Thursday, October 29th from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Certain elements of the event may not occur on the rain date.

DCPL Book Bike will joining with a selection of seasonal books for all ages to browse or checkout, library card sign up, pumpkin mask making, and information on upcoming programming and services.
