Senior Manager, Placemaking & Public Art

Amanda focuses on the generation and execution of placemaking and public art projects to complement and advance NoMa’s place-based economic development strategy. She is passionate about strengthening communities, engaging unlikely participants and forging unexpected relationships to activate neighborhood vibrancy. In previous roles as Executive Director at the Center for Emerging Visual Artists (Philadelphia), Director of the Woodlawn & Pope-Leighey House Historic Site (Alexandria, VA) and as Director of Advancement at FRESHFARM (DC), Amanda has always collaborated with artists, designers, architects, local businesses, and other community stakeholders to enliven and transform public and private spaces.
