As locals cope with burst pipes and water main breaks, water experts will speak in NoMa tomorrow night.
A panel discussion called “Water, Water Everywhere” is scheduled for Tuesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. The event hosted by the NoMa Business Improvement District will be a discussion on the rivers, tunnels and stormwater management system of D.C.
Speakers on the panel will be Tommy Wells of the District Department of the Environment, George Hawkins of DC Water, Doug Siglin of Federal City Council and Jim Foster of the Anacostia Watershed Society. Maisie Hughes of Casey Trees will moderate.
The event at 1200 1st St. NE is free but participants are asked to register online. Food, wine and beer will be available for purchase.
