Six of the nation’s 30 most competitive neighborhoods for housing market sales in 2014 were in the District, according to real estate firm Redfin.

Even as residential sales slow metro-wide in Washington, there are pockets in the District where house and condo sellers are getting multiple offers, and properties are selling in a matter of days.
