In an effort to improve reliability and safety of the Metro system, three red line stations will be closed this weekend starting at 10 p.m. Friday, August 3rd to closing Sunday, August 5th.
Shuttle bus service will be provided between Fort Totten and Union Station. Brookland-CUA, Rhode Island Ave., and NoMa-Gallaudet U stations will be closed.
Express buses will operate between Fort Totten and Union Station only. Customers using express buses should add 20 minutes to their travel time. Local buses will operate between Fort Totten and Union Station, making intermediate stops at Brookland, Rhode Island Ave and NoMa-Gallaudet U stations. Customers using local buses should add 30 minutes to their travel time.
